Biographical/Historical Note

Frank (Orrin Frances) Littlefield, Jr. (1899-1979) was born in Jesup, Georgia to Lila and Elmer Littlefield. He later lived in Savannah, Georgia where he worked as a bookkeeper for Wilson & Co.

This collection contains one original print taken by Frank Littlefield of the Savannah road race in 1919, one digital copy print of the same image, and one "restored" digital copyprint by Tim Coy, 2012.
