Samuel S. Everett (1843-1920) was a farmer and resident of Lumpkin, and later Valdosta, Georgia. He was married to Fannie L. Everett and had nine children. He was a descendant of Miles Everett (1786-1850) of Beaufort County, North Carolina through his father Thomas H. Everett (b. 1805), also of North Carolina.
This collection contains correspondence and genealogical materials based on the research of Samuel S. Everett of Georgia on the descendents of Miles Everett and the extended Everett family in the United States. The correspondence is primarily between S.S. Everett and various extended family members regarding the documentation of Everett family history. Also included are copies of several vital records of various family members. Collection materials date from 1869 to 2008.
