Biographical/Historical Note

Sherwood Norman was the Director of Children's Home, an orphanage, in Savannah, Georgia in 1942 and superintendent of the Chatham County Juvenile Detention Center in Savannah. He was later a detention consultant for the National Probation and Parole Association.
