The Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) was established in 1843. The I.O.O.F. derives from the English Oddfellows, founded in the 17th century. A community service organization, the I.O.O.F's existence in Savannah, Georgia was first documented in 1867. For several years, the Grand Lodge of Georgia had its headquarters in Savannah.
This collection contains a framed panoramic photograph of the members of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows at their Grand Lodge in Savannah, Georgia in May 1905. This photograph was taken by M. Edward Wilson of Savannah.
