Mrs. William P. Baldwin, Sr. resided in McClellanville, South Carolina.
This collection contains photocopies of records from Norfolk, England collected by Mrs. William P. Baldwin. These photocopies include lists of the inhabitants of Savannah, Georgia and Fort Frederica, Georgia in 1743. These lists detail the occupation of the inhabitant, their family members, and sometimes the kind of house they reside in. There is a typed transcription of the list of the inhabitants of Fort Frederica. Also included is an account from Mr. Thomas Jones with his observations of Savannah and the northern parts of the Georgia colony.
