The Savannah Cotton Exchange was established in 1872 in Savannah, Georgia. The purpose of the exchange was to provide cotton factors and brokers serving planters' interests in the cotton market a place to congregate and set the market value of cotton.
This collection contains a composite photograph of the members of the Savannah Cotton Exchange in 1909.
