Diane Kuhr is a resident of Savannah, Georgia. She was active in the Chatham County unit of the American Cancer Society and was on the committee for the Annual Savannah Marathon held at the Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia.
This collection contains correspondence, clippings, and racing hats of Diane Kuhr from 1978 to 1985. Included within this collection are the papers detailing Marlin Perkins's, noted zoologist and television personality, visit to Savannah, Georgia on behalf of the American Cancer Society in 1978. Also included are Kuhr's papers and hats from the organization of marathons held at Hunter Army Airfield from 1981 to 1985.
