The Georgia State College of Agriculture was founded in 1887 and is now part of the University of Georgia system, where it has become one of the oldest and best U.S. colleges of agriculture.
This collection contains four photographs of various locations from the Georgia State College of Agriculture in Athens, Georgia in 1929. Included are images of Barrow Hall, the agricultural engineering building; South Hall, the women's dormitory; Corner Hall, the administration building; and the college's amphitheatre where a May Day exercise was held.
