The Savannah Board of Trade in Savannah, Georgia was first charted in 1862 as the Savannah Naval Stores Exchange, but later changed its name to the Savannah Board of Trade. The purpose of this organization was to advance the commercial, industrial, and civil welfare of Savannah.
