Felton Coleman Farrar was born in 1917. At age six, his family moved to Savannah, Georgia, where he attended school and some college. He served with the United States Coast Guard in World War II and later worked as a field representative for a federal government contractor. He was hired directly by the federal government and received several commendations and two meritorious civilian awards. Farrar retired in 1982 and died in 2000. He is buried at Parkers Methodist Church.
This collection contains seven photographs of the gravesites of Felton Colman Farrar, Coleman W. Farrar, and Mae P. Farrar, the Parkers Methodist Church sign, and the church building.
