Biographical/Historical Note

The Morehouse and Scott families both resided in Savannah, Georgia and were linked by Grace I. Morehouse Scott (1903-1973). Mrs. Scott was first married to Garfield Roy Morehouse (1878-1951) and later remarried in 1955 to John H. Scott (1895-1964).

This collection contains books, scrapbooks, photographs, clippings, correspondence, funeral guest books, and other miscellaneous materials relating to the Morehouse and Scott families of Savannah, Georgia from 1936-1973.
