The Harrison family resided in Savannah, Georgia.
This collection contains a volume written by various members of the Harrison family from 1868 to 1911. This volume mostly contains genealogical information and anecdotes about the Harrison family in Savannah, Georgia as well as related families like the Stites family and Gordon family. Included within this volume is a letter written by Robert E. Lee on 10 August 1862 to Mrs. Ritchie, the grandmother of William Harrison, regarding his service in the Confederate States Army. There are also autographs from various governors from both Georgia and Virginia. Also included are epitaphs of various family members, newspaper clippings, extracts from letters and wills, and sketches of the Harrison family coat of arms.
