Charles A. Collins (1894-1951) lived in Savannah, Georgia. He was a member of the Savannah Volunteer Guards and served as a sergeant in the 61st Coast Artillery Corps in the Army during World War I.
This collection contains photographs, postcards, badges, and a dog tag from Charles A. Collins service in France during World War I from 1917 to 1919. Also included are brief histories of the Savannah Volunteer Guards and the 61st Coast Artillery Corps of which Collins was a part of during the war.
