Leadership Savannah is a program designed to improve the already evidenced talents of leaders and potential leaders from the Savannah, Georgia area who are active in business, education, the arts, religion, government, and other community based organizations. Leadership Savannah is a one year program that inspires leadership growth by providing the learning experiences with talented speakers and seminars that will lead to a better understanding of the community by the attendees. This organization strives to develop effective community leaders who will then work to strengthen their own communities.
Edwin J. Feiler, Jr., born in Savannah, Georgia is married to Jane Abeshouse Feiler. Edwin Feiler served three terms as president of Leadership Savannah during the late 1970s and Jane Feiler served as chairman during the early 1980s.
This collection contains correspondence, agendas, memorandums, seminar reports, articles, financial records, and other program materials relating to the yearly programs held by Leadership Savannah from 1964 to 1984 to enrich local community leaders.
