Biographical/Historical Note

Scope and Content Note

The Pinder Family Papers, 1886, consist of two documents - a Deed of Bargain and Sale for lot 28, Greene Ward, Savannah, and the settlement of the property of Ann M. Pinder. This collection was originally part of a larger group of materials accumulated by Henry M. Buckley, found in his house after his death. It is not known how or why he accumulated the papers; relationships between the papers could not be established, so the collection was divided, based on the provenance of their creation.
