The Aero Service Corporation of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was established in 1919. It was the world leader in aerial photography, receiving both government and private contracts.
This collection consists of fifty nitrate negatives of aerial views of Savannah taken by the Aero Service Corporation of Philadelphia, Pa. Items 1-6 were taken on May 9 and items 7-34 were taken on April 20, 1931. Items 35-38 were taken on August 20 and items 39-50 were taken on August 30, 1934. The negatives were scanned and paper images are available for patron use.
