Benjamin Palmer Axson, Sr. (1871-1943) was the son of Randolph and Ella Law Axson. He was educated in the Savannah public school system. After graduation, he entered the cotton factorage business with his brother, Randolph. When the cotton business began to decline, Axson became an accountant in the office of the city treasurer. On June 1, 1907, he married Margaret Callaway. Ms. Axson was an active member o the Independent Presbyterian Church, the Masons, Scottish Rite, and Shriners. He was also a life member of the Oglethorpe Club.
This collection consists of typed and handwritten genealogies and charts of the Axson and allied families.
