This collection consists of papers regarding the Geechee Bowl Game. On December 30, 1949, the Girl Scout Council of Savannah sponsored the Geechee Bowl Football Game. It was hoped to be an annual event, but it did not succeed. The Jefferson Atlantic Club for Boys of Savannah played the Coastal Carolina All-Stars. Included are correspondence, a list of daily newspapers in Georgia and South Carolina and the official releases sent to them, financial papers, and a program from the Bowl.
Material was acquired from creating body.
