This collection consists of 5 deeds to property in Effingham and Screven Counties, Georgia. Two deeds from 1813 are from John McCall to Abraham Richardson and Robert Burton; one 1834 deed is from James Lanier to James McCall; and one 1842 deed from Christopher White to James B. McCall. The last deed is from Alexander Kemp to the sheriff of Screen County, Georgia, 1844. The deed is a foreclosure by Thomas Green against James B. McCall on 300 acres as payment for a loan of $190 plus interest.
