The Scarlett family lived in and around Brunswick, Georgia. Frank M. Scarlett was the first federal judge appointed in the county and the federal building in Brunswick is named in his honor.
This collection contains three photograph albums containing pictures of the Scarlett, Atkinson, Keany, and Hull families. Also included are two scrapbooks about Richard B. Russell's first senatorial campaign, managed by Frank M. Scarlett, III. There is also a bible in this collection that was a gift from Sarah Scarlett to her children Frank Muir Scarlett II and Bessie Scarlett.
