This collection consists of two daybooks belonging to James R. Webster, a grocer in Eatonton, Georgia. Both volumes are account books; the second volume also contains a list of uncollected accounts up to February 24, 1879.
Materials were found in the attic of the Putnam County Courthouse in 1970.
