Biographical/Historical Note

Edward Fenwick, a merchant of London, was the son of Robert Fenwick. His brother, John, removed to South Carolina, married Elizabeth Gibbes of Charleston, and was the progenitor of the Fenwick family of South Carolina.

Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of a photocopy of a letter from Edward Fenwick to Roger Fenwick, written from London in 1726. The letter concerns the Fenwick family. Roger Fenwick was in Ireland.
