Biographical/Historical Note

Co. K, 3rd Georgia U.S. Volunteer (U.S.V.) Infantry mustered in at Griffin, Georgia, 1898, and was sent to a camp near Savannah and then to Cuba, January 15-March 24, 1899. The company mustered out in Augusta, Georgia.

This collection consists of a muster-out roll for the 3rd Georgia Volunteer Infantry Regiment, U.S.V., August 19, 1898-April 22, 1899. It was signed by Capt. Henry Kolshorn, Commanding Officer.
