Robert S. Cooper worked for the U.S. Corps of Engineers in Savannah, Georgia. He has been building lutes in his spare time since 1958, including some for famous musicians such as Richard Dyer-Bennett.
This collection consists of a 31 page typescript of Robert S. Cooper's published book, Lute Construction. The book was published by Pigeonhole Press of Savannah, Georgia in 1963.
