William Watkins Wilson (1800-1880) practiced medicine in Savannah, Georgia. He graduated from the Savannah Medical College in 1858 and the Oglethorpe Medical College in 1861. His son, William Howell Wilson (1829-1915) graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1852.
This collection consists of medical school diplomas for the Wilson family of Savannah. Diplomas include William Watkins Wilson's from the Savannah Medical College in 1858 and Oglethorpe Medical College in 1861 and William Howell Wilson's from the Medical College of Georgia in 1852. There is also William Watkins Wilson's certificate of membership in the Georgia Medical Society, Savannah, 1847.
