William Parker White (1811-1869?) was born in Savannah, Georgia, the son of Steele and Ann Matthews Guerard White. He married Sarah Berrien Dowse. The family lived at Isle of Hope near Savannah.
This collection consists of a photocopy of a letter from William P. White to M.W. Phillips, 1854. White writes of his paper in American Farmer and mentions a recent death in his family. He also mentions an article by Dr. Harden.
