Biographical/Historical Note

Francis Bartow Camp No. 93, Sons of Confederate Veterans was organized in Savannah on June 3, 1898, by descendants of men who had served in the Confederate States Army. It is still an active organization.


Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of a minute book, 1898-1907, and roll book, 1901-1919, belonging to the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Francis Bartow Camp No. 93, of Savannah, Georgia. The minute book includes some memorials to deceased members which were added at later dates.

This collection also includes 4 rolls of microfilm containing an index to applications for Sons of Confederate Veterans, Francis Bartow Camp. This index was microfilmed by the Georgia Historical Society in 1989.
