James Smith (b. ca. 1766) lived in McIntosh County, Georgia.
This collection consists of three letters from James Smith to John Babcock of S. Newell & Co., dated June 13, 1833, June 30, 1833, and December 5, 1837. All of the letters were written from McIntosh County, Georgia, and pertain to castings for a rice mill, and a pipe and pump for a cistern. The letters include details of installations.
