This collection consists of a land grant from the state of Georgia to John P. Riley, 1837, for Lot no. 1080 (40 acres), 12th District, 1st Section of Cherokee County. It is signed by William Schley, Governor. This tract was drawn by John P. Riley of Muscogee County in the gold lottery of 1832. A plat and pendant seal are included.
