Biographical/Historical Note

Hannah Salmons (1817-ca. 1883) lived in Montevideo, Elbert County, Georgia. She married William Edwards in 1843.

Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of an 1842 letter from Hannah Salmons of Montivedeo, Georgia, to Mrs. William Nellems of Elberton, Georgia. Salmons writer that she will stay with Mrs. Nellems on "living terms."
