Biographical/Historical Note

Adelaide Guerard McNish (b. 1880) was the daughter of William Percy and Adelaide S. Baynard Guerard. She married William McNish.


Scope and Content Note

This collection consists primarily of deeds to Lot 13, Columbia Ward in Savannah, which is the site of the Davenport House. The deeds date from 1812 to 1894. Two photographs of the Davenport House are also in the collection. In addition to the Davenport House materials, the collection contains the marriage settlement of William P. Guerard and Adelaide S. Baynard, 1871 and a deed of conveyance from George H. Guerard to Adelaide S. Guerard for a lot in Hardeeville, South Carolina, 1874.
