John L. Johnson was a partner in John Flannery & Co., cotton factors and commission merchants.
This collection contains a receipt book, November 9, 1898-July 11, 1901. Most of the receipts are for purchases, taxes, insurance, medicines, etc. A few of them are receipts to John Flannery & Co. Many Savannah businesses are represented, as well as a few individuals.
