Biographical/Historical Note

The Jewish War Relief Campaign was organized to raise money for the relief of starving Jewish people in Eastern Europe, primarily orphans. Leopold Adler was chairman of the campaign in Savannah.

Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of a letter to William harden, February 11, 1920, asking him to inform his organization of the coming campaign; a circular letter from B.H. Levy of the Near East Relief Committee in Savannah, requesting funds for adopting Savannahs quota of 20 Armenian Orphans; a mimeographed circular, undated, requesting donations and a leaflet, "How Much is a Child Worth?" by the Jewish Relief Campaign.
