This collection does not refer to Sarah Rosamond Clark who married Isaiah Davenport in 1809. However, this may be the same Sarah Davenport mentioned in advertisements in The Gazette of the State of Georgia on October 5, 1786 and February 1, 1787.
This collection consists of a receipt issued to Mrs. Sarah Davenport on March 1, 1787 in Savannah for receipt of payment for the previous year's taxes. Signed by Alexr. Watt, T.C.
