Walter Cliffe was the Major of Brigade for the colonial Loyalist volunteer corps, the Volunteers of Augusta, in Georgia, during the Revolutionary War.
This collection consists of a copy of orders to be observed by the non-commissioned officers of the provost guard, Savannah. March 21, 1782. With regulation as to prisoners and their mail, signed by Walter Cliffe, Major of Brigade.
