Macartan Campbell (ca. 1748-1793) was the son of Martin Campbell, a partner in the trading firm of McCartan and Campbell of Augusta, Georgia. Macartan Campbell joined the firm and continued as a merchant after the deaths of his father and Francis McCartan.
This collection consists of a list of slaves included in the appraisal of the estate of Macartan Campbell. This list gives the names and values of the slaves.
