Solomon Brannen (1791-1864) was the son of William Brannen (1751-1840) and Elizabeth Gross Brannen (1754-1851). He married Nancy Stanford on December 24, 1818. Brannen lived in Bulloch County, Georgia.
This collection consists of a grant for Lot 99, First section, Cherokee County, Georgia, drawn by Solomon Brannen of Lockhart's District, Bulloch County, Georgia. It is dated March 16, 1837 and signed by Governor William Schley. A survey and seal are attached.
