Biographical/Historical Note

Christian Steiner was the son of Ruprecht and Maria Winter Steiner. He married Dorothea Farr on December 16, 1760. They had the following children: Hannah (b. 1762); Mary (1764-1764); and Samuel (b. 1779). Catherine Mary Bolzius (ca. 1742-1778) was born in Georgia. She was the daughter of Rev. John Bolzius, leader of the Salzburger settlement at Ebenezer, Georgia.


Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of a deed of conveyance from Christian and Dorothea Steiner to Mary Catherine Bolzius of a town lot in Ebenezer, Georgia dated in the 1760s. This document is only a fragment.
