|Extent:||0.05 cubic feet (1 folder)|
No biographical information is available.
This collection consists of a letter from a sister, Cynthia, to her brother, a soldier during the Civil War, containing news of home. The letter is on Union stationery. It was enclosed in an envelope address to Miss Lucy A. Hall, Dresden, Muskingum County, Ohio, but the envelope does not appear to have been original to the letter. The letter contains a monochrome woodcut of "Lady Liberty" holding a wreath over her head with her right hand and a U.S. flag over her shoulder with her left hand.
